HIDDEN FIGURES
I recently saw the film Hidden Figures, I
now understand the reason behind all the accolades. I won’t give too much away
but I do recommend watching it! Based on
true events the film directed by Theodore Melfi who recreates a period of time with the great help
of actresses Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, they reflect
the day and life of three mathematicians working at NASA in the early sixties’
on a mission to successfully get the first man into space. The bravery and
determination of these women is almost unbelievable. These ladies and many more
I’m sure, truly paved the way. After watching this film, it got me thinking
about all the other hidden figures we don’t know of, who’s stories have not
been portrayed in a film, whose stories are yet to be told.
