About the event: 1-54 African Art Fair is the first and only international art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora.

With three editions per year—in London, New York, and Marrakech, 1-54 draws reference to the fifty-four countries that constitute the African continent.

7-Day TELLS TRIPS Itinerary:

MONDAY 5th February 2024: Welcome Brunch and City Tour

On the first day, all guests will be welcomed with a Moroccan group brunch before we head to the city tour where we will see Marrakesh’s historical Medina and the culture that they have to offer.

TUESDAY 6th February 2024: Adventure Day - Agafay desert

A trip to the Agafay desert for a ride of camels.

WEDNESDAY 7th February 2024: Day of rest

This is your day to, rest, lounge, sleep, and shop. The decision is yours! In the words of Mika, ‘Relax, take it easy’.

THURSDAY 8th February 2024: Historical Sites and Museums

Today is Historical Monuments and Relics Day, from the largest mosque in Marrakech, The Koutoubia Mosque, The Bahia Palace, and Medina Marrakech to the ancient Royal Palace, Badi Palace, and more.

FRIDAY 9th February 2024: Spa day and 1-54 African Art Fair

We will experience and relax at a traditional Hamman/spa before making our way to the 1-54 African Art Fair.

SATURDAY 10th February 2024: 1-54 African Art Fair

We will participate in a cooking workshop in the morning. Immerse ourselves fully into the 1-54 show in the fternoon. In the evening we will go out for diner at Lemoni before experiencing the Moroccan night life.

SUNDAY 11th February 2024: 1-54 African Art Fair

On our last day, we will have a farewell brunch before we head to the last day of the 1-54 African Art Fair.

Fee: $150-200 per day pass.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.

  2. 2. Cancellation by guest: Any trip cancellation requests must be received in writing at tellstrips@gmail.com

  3. Cancellation must be communicated at least 10 weeks before the departure date.

  4. You can pay for the trip in full or in a payment plan. The dates will be emailed after booking your deposit. However, if you’d like to arrange a custom plan for your preferred dates, please email us after booking at tellstrips@gmail.com.

  5. These prices are based on shared double occupancy. If you would like a single occupancy during your stay, please contact us at tellstrips@gmail.com before booking to learn more about the additional fee.

  6. Please check your visa eligibility before booking.

  7. If you have any dietary restrictions, please send us an email after booking.
