JULY '17 GAME CHANGERS

I thought I would start this segment on the blog where I will show and share the things I discovered this month that changed the game (life) for me in an incredible way.
July 2017’s game changers are:

1.       THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK BY OTEGHA UWAGBA

I honestly believe this is a book everyone should own. So much advice and tips are shared from self-care to networking alongside many other tools for creative women in the world of work to use. I won’t give too much away a part from the fact that I have really enjoyed reading it. The strategic layout of topic chapters make it a super easy read on your daily commute to work, in the bathtub or your read just before bedtime. You name it.

TIPS: The perfect read for the future female entrepreneur.

2.       FLOW PERFECTLY BALANCED FACIAL OIL BY THE AFRO HAIR AND SKIN CO

Ever since this product has been introduced to me I’ve asked myself multiple times, where has this been all my life!? I’ve had so much trouble with my skin of late and I’ve tried and tested so many products, but none of them have eased the pain and manage to work as well as this one. The funny thing is I thought I would have to wait for my skin to clear up and be ‘back to normal’ (whatever that is) before I could start using this nutrient rich facial oil. However it turns out that the product works well with anyone suffering from acne/ breakouts as the bottle of goodness contains ingredients that stops the over production of oil in our skin such as the floral oil Organic Ylang Ylang Flower.

TIPS: Best when applied on to damp skin. Don’t be a Yasmin and wait until you run out to order some more because you will have to go a couple of days without the pure plant magic. L

3.       SPECIALLY SELECTED CHOCOLATE & COCONUT COOKIES

I’m so addicted to these cookies to the point that I no longer have them in my snack drawer at work because they do not last a minute let alone for the week. I don’t know what the best part is!? From the chocolate meets coconut, to the neat little tray the eight cookies are packaged in. All I know is it is the best £1.29 I spend!

TIPS: Consider it a treat to yourself alongside your favourite TV series. It could also be one of the gifts inside of a DIY birthday hamper/ gift basket for a friend or family member.
