3 REASONS TO VISIT YORK, SIERRA LEONE!
Have you visited York, Sierra Leone before? 🇸🇱
1. Historical Landmarks - York is a old Krio village with many landmarks such as the Town Bell, churches, an island, Fortiwater Cave and a colonial lamp post that was used in the past to transit slaves.
2. Beach ⛱ I'm not sure of the beach name, (York Beach I assume) is definitely somewhere I recommend visiting. The beach is clean and serene with low tides during the day.
3. Resorts - Interest in the village that is over 200 hundred years old is growing with new resorts being built in the area. Currently York Guesthouse and Fabulous Resort are the public hotels visitors usually stay at. I only went for the day so I'm not sure what the stay experience is like...yet!
I'll definitely be going back there again this year.
